As a proud Italian, family means everything and my family name, Scalzi, carries with it a legacy of hard work, dedication and an unwavering commitment to excellence — qualities I owe to my father. The name "Barefeet" was chosen, not only for it's symbolism of authenticity, groundedness and purposeful simplicity, but also as a personal tribute. It reflects a philosophy of staying connected - to work, to people and to what truly matters - just as walking barefoot connects you directly to the earth. 

More meaningfully, "Barefeet" is the translation of my family name and honours my father's legacy. His values, work ethic and the path he paved continue to inspire the foundation of this business. The name serves as a reminder of where we come from and the importance of walking forward with integrity, humility and purpose.
